PSTV is the Education channel for The School District of Philadelphia (SDP) open to ALL enrolled students including (including public, charter, private and parochial schools).
PSTV broadcasts youth driven programming created by and for students that benefits them and their communities, 24 hours a day.
Here at PSTV we provide students a state-of-the art production equipment and innovative multi media tools to garner hands on experience in a professional industry environment enhancing career and college readiness.
PSTV’s approach to media and digital literacy will provide students, teachers and parents the opportunity to be able to analyze, collaborate and integrate creative and constructive thinking skills, while creating media that enables constructive social awareness & responsibility.
Students today will become tomorrow’s leaders. PSTV is dedicated to cultivating these new thought leaders to be the voices of our future through our media immersion programs. PSTV partnerships are key to the program and students success.
Students interested in a media will have opportunities for internships, apprenticeships, further education and industry experience.
